The back ID listed on this page allow quick purchasing of back numbers by individuals without the need of doing a bulk order. Club owners will get the best value for money when getting a quote for bulk patches will get the best value for money.
Back numbers are limited to 15 characters. Names with 10 - 15 characters may have the name height reduced. Please consider the format for shortening the first name i.e John Smith = J. SMITH, or just SMITH
Any deviations may cause delays
Sizes follow:
- XS (26cm x 26cm, usually for gi sizes 110 - 120)
- S (29cm x 29cm, usually for gi sizes 120 - 140)
- M (32cm x 32cm, usually for gi sizes 140 - 160)
- L (35cm x 35cm, usually for gi sizes 160+)
- XL (38cm x 38cm, currently not available. can use L)
Please note different clubs may size the patch differently. Production of the patches will follow the clubs specified patch size for the respective size.

For clubs/states looking to get their custom backpatch set up, you should know:
- Artwork should not be AI generated
- Artwork will not be checked for correctness (Names will be)
- Artwork should be in the .png format and not (low resolution) pixelated
- The back patches are not used for international tournaments - i.e country based tournaments (making of AUS backpatch will not be accepted)
- No vulgarities
- The sizes above includes at least 1cm of white border on all sides, so the design artwork of the patch will be sized eg. 24cm x 24cm for XS size patch
- Dotted guidelines are placed ~10mm from all sides of the design edge to guide the seamtress, unless not required.
